I think there is more going on than we know....changing friendships, etc. 2004 was a long time ago. I will be surprised if it is ever released, to be honest. With regard to censoring the documentary - the "naked" pool scene is such a quick blip and the filming is rough quality...there is not much to see at all. IF it is ever released, I would be more inclined to think that the movie would be heavily edited - removal of a lot of the scenes that John might consider artsy like cuts from musicals, etc. It's been awhile since I saw it, but I can't remember any heavily emotional moments that they wouldn't want shown.

Why do they need to celebrate the 10th anniversary of AI anyway ? It's already got a live album & musical, it'll end up overshadowing the rest of their career if they're not careful. And I get the impression that if the band wanted it released that badly it would've come out by now.

I am so incredibly sick of and disgusted by so many fans right now. Hearing people talk extreme shit about Green Day cause John can't get his way. Thinking they're all fucking high and mighty and knocking the band when they don't know shit about the situation. It makes me laugh though... they're turning on the band because of John when in the first place they only ass licked John to get closer to the band - who they now hate or whatever because of this. LOL ~ Green Day fans. I'm sure HLAHG is quite amazing. I'm sure I will adore it. But I'll always feel uneasy about it because of the whole ...situation surrounding it. I just wish people could see everything for what it is and people for who they are. I don't understand why people are being so blind.

In all fairness though, they invited him to film the making of the album, but as far as we know it was never a given it would be made into a movie and released. It just seems to me that John wants a pay day.
