Why do they need to celebrate the 10th anniversary of AI anyway ? It's already got a live album & musical, it'll end up overshadowing the rest of their career if they're not careful. And I get the impression that if the band wanted it released that badly it would've come out by now.

I am so incredibly sick of and disgusted by so many fans right now. Hearing people talk extreme shit about Green Day cause John can't get his way. Thinking they're all fucking high and mighty and knocking the band when they don't know shit about the situation. It makes me laugh though... they're turning on the band because of John when in the first place they only ass licked John to get closer to the band - who they now hate or whatever because of this. LOL ~ Green Day fans. I'm sure HLAHG is quite amazing. I'm sure I will adore it. But I'll always feel uneasy about it because of the whole ...situation surrounding it. I just wish people could see everything for what it is and people for who they are. I don't understand why people are being so blind.

I think we have to keep a positive mind about it. It's not like they're going to shelve it for the rest of the eternity, it will come out, eventually. Plus, I'm already getting the feeling that AI will have a proper 10th year anniversary like it deserves, with the (probable) release of this

I think if they don't release it by the 10th anniversary, then it won't ever be released. After that it'll become a DVD about a band making an album 11...12...15 years ago or whatever, and I can't really see Warner doing that. The 10th anniversary might be our last shot at this ever going public. However, I'm not a fan of the 10th anniversary deal. I think it's probably a logical choice for Green Day/Warner or whoever to make, because in 2011 the timing seems off. A documentary being released 7 years after the album, with another studio album in between just seems like an odd time. But... I'm hoping it won't be promoted too heavily as a 10th anniversary thing, and promoted more as a documentary about a great album.

Why did he say definitely when it obviously never was definitely? He should've been truthful about it instead of getting our hopes up. Not at all surprised by this though, it probably isn't even confirmed to come out in 2014. And since the band/label are clearly calling all the shots with this film, I bet if it does ever come out it'll be cut and censored to shit.

Don't know if anyone has heard, but a cast member fell into the orchestra pit in the Spiderman musical last night. A couple of Idiot alumni (Matt Caplan and Joshua Kobak) are part of the Spiderman musical but were not the injured cast member. Please keep the actor, Christopher Tierney, and the rest of the Spiderman company in your thoughts. Tierney is said to have broken ribs and bleeding. He's listed as serious but stable condition. Despite this accident, which is among a few that has plagued the show already, the show will continue tomorrow night. As most know, there is aerial work in Idiot as well. I'm sure those who do that (Stark, Christina, Ben, Libby, Van, and Aspen) are a bit shaken up and probably need a good heap of nerves and confidence to do that piece tonight and all the other performances. So if you see the show sometime soon, give extra kudos to them.
