Yeah, I think it's too long as well. And it's very easy to mistype or forget what exactly it is. all these url's are available for both .org and .com: gdatw gdacrosstheworld greendayacrosstheworld even greendayevent.org and .com are available. just suggestions for shorter url's

To be honest, I find the url way too long. People would probably be too lazy to type that all out. And the date is probably not even necessary in an url link as it will be on the website itself. I think just the name suffices. Something like www.GreenDayAcrossTheWorld.org or so. Just my opinion.

After the holidays this is going to go into high gear. It's going to be insane, you'll see... There will be plenty for everyone to do. Also while I'm in NYC J an 6-11th I'm going to give Billie Joe and the American Idiot cast the website address for this. I'm going to make up flyers and pass them out to everyone at The Times Talks and The American Idiot on Broadway at St. James Theater DOES ANYONE WANT TO PUT TOGETHER A KICK ASS FLYER FOR ME TO GIVE OUT IN NYC? I know the website name for this event is going to be "Green.Day.Across.The.World.May28th2011org" P.S. PLEASE PUT EVENT NAME AND WEBSITE ADDRESS ON THE FLYERS. DON'T FORGET TO PUT WHAT THIS EVENT IS ALL ABOUT ON THE FLYER. ALSO PUT ABOUT THE PRIZES AND AUCTIONS AND SOME KICK ASS GRAPHICS TO DRAW EVERYONES ATTENTION PLEASE. PLEASE DO FLYERS IN BLACK AND WHITE, I CAN'T AFFORD COLOR RIGHT NOW BUT I'M USING COLORED PAPER. I haven't checked my email yet but if you sent it to dawn.wilcox1@gmail.com them I'm sure I have it.....

a lot will go to fund this event which will take a lot the web site cost $2,500 alone and this has to fund this event on a global scale. i have appointed a treasurer to keep all the books so that it all on the up and up. What is left over will go to NRDC the environmental agency Green Day funds..... I will be cold calling businesses, it's a tax write off for them any way. I will have a paypal donate button for whomever decides they want to. The t-shirts with the event logo that we will sell on the site the event will receive the profits from the sales. I am going to try anyway I can wether it be car washes, bake sales, raffels or whatever. And don't forget I have already received items to Auction off on ebay to raise money. I will do whatever I can to help my dreams for this event become a reality...... after the holidays there will be lots to do, believe me don't worry u will be needed too, this will be done in teams. it's way to much for 1 or 2 to handle, we need everyone......

I just realized that last one was posted by zsuzsuzsu a couple pages back. Hope you don't mind seeing it again.

*sniffles* So sweet. I talked to Mary after the matinee and she said that she was so emotional. I saw Kobak briefly after the matinee, too, but he wasn't on for the evening and kinda disappeared afterwards. Mary and Esper were so cute on the couch during "Holiday." More so than usual. One of Johnny's guiatr strings broke during BOBD and it was just him and the drums for the first verse and chorus; it sounded really good. Esper, Miguel & Declan were even more ridiculous on the couch than usual in "Favorite Son." Esper left the stage a couple of times when he wasn't featured (don't know why) and his voice cracked a little at the beginning of Novacaine & he just grinned it off, which isn't really in tune with the song but whatever. Libby was on for Christina and while I thought she was good in "21 Guns," I thought that she was straining in "Extraordinary Girl." At the end of "Homecoming," when Johnny and Tunny greeted Heather, both the guys gave Mary a kiss on the cheek which I don't remember them doing before. She teared up at a couple of moments within the show but she was really crying towards the end of "Whatsername." During curatin call, Theo hugged her the entire time and then for "Good Riddance," the entire cast surrounded Mary, sustaining the final chord. Johnny went around the stage, shouting at the audience "Get the fuck up! It's Mary fucking Faber!" She took her final bow at the end and Esper hugged her, kissing her on the forehead as they left the stage. Sorry for the random thoughts. The after-party was at the new bowling alley down the street from the St. James. Johnny and Becca left for the gala right after the show, though.
