Is anyone here going to the concerts in Vienna? I'm looking for a ride towards southern Germany after the show on June 18. Any tips on where to find a lift or how to connect with people? There's nothing on BlaBlaCar yet, and FlixBus hasn’t been much help either. -
On this day 8 years ago (5 April 2017), Green Day played the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, CO on the Revolution Radio Tour. More photos on the GDA Tumblr 14 years ago (5 April 2011), Billie Joe's third and final run as St. Jimmy on Broadway began. 27 years ago (5 April 1998), Green Day played the Andrews Amphitheater in Honolulu, Hawaii on the Nimrod Tour. More photos on the GDA Tumblr 'Armstrong had gotten ahold of bikini panties and a bra. He dropped his pants to reveal … white boxers. For modesty’s sake, he pulled the panties – white tag showing in the back – up over his boxers, before doing a bump and grind. This is one guy who should always wear as much clothes as possible. The show had to be over when Tré Cool came crashing over his drum kit. Having been hidden behind drums for the set, the green-haired drummer was going to have his time in the spotlight – even if he had to kill a few instruments in the process. He punctuated the proceedings with the crash of a microphone on a cymbal, threw his bass drum, then, lifting his floor tom over his head, he bashed every side on the corner of the stage as if he were husking a coconut.' — George F. Lee, Honolulu Star Bulletin 31 years ago (5 April 1994), Green Day played the Oz Nightclub in Seattle, WA on the Dookie Tour. More photos on the GDA Tumblr

As I said, I'm so glad you found them! I'm still in the lookout for one from Lyon and one from Hamburg, in case anyone happens to come across one of those, please give me a heads up!

I can’t find anything about this show -
Buzzing again, playing video games and listening to Saviors and I got a random nitpick with the song father to a son. In the line “I’ve made a few mistakes, but I’ll never break your heart”, I’ve always noticed the word “heart” sounds like it’s been stitched together. Idk if it’s 2 takes or auto tune. But that is all folks. (I know they’ve used pitch correction multiple times here and in the past but this part sticks out every time) I love this album still btw and it’s great to revisit it. I just watched these guys share their thoughts on it. They’re pretty funny! P.S. Fancy Sauce is still one of the main songs I find being stuck in my head at work and is one of my top 5 of the album for sure.

If anyone here went to the first Green Day Wrigley Field show in 2017, did they only sell the specially made specific show poster or did they also sell a summer tour poster? If they did sell a tour poster was it of them wearing the masks of their faces with the summer dates I went to the show in Green Bay, WI in March of that year and have one with the spring dates.

Thanks to @Rumpelstiltskin2000 I've finally got the Glasgow and Lyon patches!! I rarely buy merch anymore but these are really nice souvenirs. Between scalpers and fans hoarding them I never thought I'd get them.

I think we always need that huge buildup to the opening line. Also, this performance was just triumphant and perfect and I love it Also Billie’s huge tie and ruffled shirt is amazing

Actually annoyed by this. Shitty, cynical marketing nonsense. -
Amazing amazing amazing. This is the best performance of basket case in all of the history of our good men. God bless and goodnight (I’m a bit drunk. Man did this video hit.) also, at 15:36, Travis barker talks so highly of a bass Mike gave him during the pop disaster tour. Hearing him talk about how he uses it for basically everything besides Blink is really endearing.
