On a side note, I’m pleasantly surprised to see all the praise for Green Day‘s performance online. I wasn’t sure if their music would resonate with the Coachella crowd, but it seems like most people really enjoyed their set, and I even saw some articles naming them as the highlight of the whole festival. There was one post about Travis Scott‘s performance where people commented that it fell flat because of the high standards set by Green Day before. I’ve got no idea if this is true or not, but it seems like in recent months, the band is finally getting the recognition they deserve. There was a time where they were the punching bag for a lot of frustrated rock fans, but these days, it seems like most people seem to acknowledge their contribution to rock music history and the fact that they are still one of the best live bands out there.

I hope not. It’s such a complex issue with so much emotion involved. If they did talk I think it would just become a media circus with no winners.

Green Day getting banned for something they didn't do is wtf. Also i noticed that on itunes saviors deluxe store page. All saviors tracks are in pre-order state. Are we getting a saviors remastered tracks? Dookie 30th anniversary and american idiot 20th anniversary had all their standard tracks available to play /download after you pre-order the album. The reason why i said "REMASTERED" is because keane did this on their hopes and fears 20th anniversary where the remastered standard tracks are not available to play until release day and it was a new different remaster mix instead of using the 2009 remasters.

I really hope they talk. Since this has already blown up in the news (and they haven't even talked yet), it seems like it would be an even bigger deal if they actually do talk. It would be interesting to hear his side of things, and debates are often healthy; that is the whole point of opinion. If everyone had the same opinion about everything, the word "opinion" wouldn't exist. The concept of an opinion wouldn't exist either.

Is Billie going to have a chat with David from Disturbed or nah? I'd actually really love to hear Green Day sit down and talk politics. For all the "politics" surrounding the band, they've never really dwelled, focused or discussed it at length. and I'm so over seeing these headlines about freaking out over Billie saying "maga agenda" or "JD Vance". That's it, he's been mildly dissing Republicans for 25 years. Green Day, despite some lines on Forever Now, have as of 2025 - NOT started a revolution. Where was I? Oh, Dave from Disturbed. I know nothing about any of this situation, and despite desperately trying to find an answer to "who's the good guys, who's the bad guys" - there doesn't seem to be a simple answer.

I don’t expect AI to be played in full, as Billie said in Sydney that it would be the last time for them to do that. But Vienna will be the first „real“ GD shows after all the festivals. So the setlist could hopefully include more deep cuts. And more Saviors songs!!
