Guitar solos on this record are also really good. I missed the solos from the trilogy but Billie really lets it rip on this record. Popular Post stories and songs Posted January 19 Popular Post Share Posted January 19 Goodnight Adeline is a huge standout to me. It’s just awesome. Beautiful lyrics, love how Billie sings it. Really powerful. I’m also immediately, deeply obsessed with Living in the 20s. It goes so hard, the lyrics are so clever. This album is so funny and sarcastic at times. Tons of great one-liners. My tentative top 5 (not counting the singles, because idk how they fit in my ranking yet — I think Dilemma is still my favorite, or at least definitely in my top 5!): 1. Goodnight Adeline 2. LIT20s 3. Fancy Sauce 4. Bobby Sox 5. Coma City But like seriously, there are no misses on this album. It’s excellent. It’s VERY hard to choose a top 5. This album is the perfect mix of everything Green Day is — it’s fun, it’s smart, it’s heartfelt, it’s silly.
